misc summer

we've been hanging out in the hammocks lots this summer.

they're seriously so relaxing, some afternoons, i sneak out myself to chill for awhile.

carson found a picture in the july friend magazine that he just had to copy.

he's been wearing his armor all day, every day, since sunday afternoon.
he is one cute kid, inside & out.

sometimes i'm surprised when i download pics and find nuggets of photographic delight.

like, below, the abstract sidewalk and our pathetic, dying marigolds.

(p.s. addie's giving logan the stare-down to stay away from that toy car, even though it's his. i'm so sure.)

4th of july weekend at bear lake.

not enough photos because sometimes i leave the camera alone & just enjoy.

the chair pic below was the happiest addie looked at the beach, probably because she (a) has fruit snacks and (b) wasn't touching the water.
the other kids LOVED their time at the lake with cousins.

she's also fiercely independent (note the adornment of not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR bibs below...each of which she demanded to be put on on top of the other).
