carson, on our walk the other day: mom, when i was little [editor's note: an opening like this always makes me smile, because, hello, you're 5. how much "littler" could you have been? :)], i really really wanted a puppy. but i don't want a puppy anymore. wanna know why?
me: yep. why?
carson: because i don't want ANYone to have to spend ANY of their time a-pickin' up poop!!
