I had a hard time sleeping last night. Worrying about the marathon tomorrow. Have I done enough to train? Will my blisters be okay? Will I get stomach cramps or sideaches? I'm trying to think positive thoughts, though, and I think that's helping...in fact, the only dream I remember having last night (in my 3 hours of on-and-off sleep) was of myself going on a roller-coaster ride that was supposed to be scary but it turned out being fun.
I'll tell you what else is fun: Layla's starting to use the potty for its intended purpose.
Wow. If that's my idea of "fun," I think I need to get out more. I will tomorrow. 26.2 miles' worth of out. Wish me blister-free luck!

Brittney, you WILL do great! Just have a good time....the race is the fun part.
I'm very impressed that you are even signed up to run a marathon. Even that is more than I would attempt. I'm sure you will do fabulously. Good luck!
GO BRITTNEY!!!
I'll see you at the finish line! I'll be the one totally crying like some crazy pregnant hormonal lady (which I am), because I'll be so very proud of you! You think I'm kidding, but I'm not! The finish line is an emotional place for me! Can't wait to see you there!
Brittney, you are my hero! Larry and I will be on Hollow Road cheering, then chase you down to the finish line and cheer at the end. We will take pictures and immortalize the event. If we don't see you at the end, we'll drive back and find you! What am I saying? Of course you will make it. It will be Michelle we will be hunting down. It has happened in the past. Once she fainted, and once she ended up with a stress fracture.

Wahoo! Great job Brittney! The clock I was watching at the end of the race said you finished around 3 hours :50 minutes. Katrina told me that at mile 21 you put on speed and left them in the dust. She said you looked so strong!
How are your tootsies?
