so, my friend mindy and i are having a garage sale this saturday (she lives by lundstrom park, if anyone wants to stop by and say hello...and politely keep your comments about our junk to yourselves). my first one ever. the batteries that i was recharging have disappeared somewhere around here (does anyone else go through batteries--even rechargeable ones--like they're tissues? anyway. tangent.), but i'm bound and determined to find some for the camera to document the event. (oh, and also to take pics of our nearly-finished kitchen; i haven't forgotten that.) it should be fun. slash, a little stressful and a lot time-consuming so far. but mostly fun.
paul laughs at me because i've caught the de-junking bug and now want to sell pretty much everything we own (including our dining room table and one of our vehicles). he tells me to calm down, and that selling, say, our firstborn and our fridge for $40 each probably wouldn't bring us happiness in the long run.
men.
