I'll be the first to admit: this is kind of dumb. By the end of it, I'm sure you'll all agree. Dah well.
Before I begin, let me explain myself. I'm trying to get my creative juices flowing. I feel like I've been stuck in kind of a rut lately, where doing the bare minimum of everything is fine. Which, yes, sometimes it is. But I've been noticing that my level of "bare minimum" has started sinking lower...and lower...and lower. And I don't like it.
So. I've decided to begin honing (and expressing) creativity through my clothes. Bear with me, here (or don't, I guess...either way). I don't think I'm cool. I don't think I'm a model (I feel dumb saying that because. Hello. Obvious.). I don't think I'm fashion-forward. In fact, those things are all pretty much opposite of what I am. But what I am (or, was, once upon a time) is creative and one who "makes do." (A job-interview-slant on how to say, basically, that I'm poor. And cheap.)
My Goal: Without spending any money (e.g., using what I have RIGHT NOW), I'm going to go the rest of 2010 by wearing something new and different every day. And, to hold myself accountable, I'm going to take a photo of my outfit each day and post on this blog. Hopefully, that will also help me be even MORE creative!!! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!
Ew. Sorry.
Anyway. Taking my "who-cares-make-yourself-happy" inspiration from Addie...
...here's what I came up with today. Pretty conservative. And, yes, that's my beloved scarf. You just might be seeing a lot of it in the coming weeks. Heh.

This is kind of awesome you mean. I'm totally looking forward to all of your posts.
Love the boots! Are they the ones from target? I ended up punching an extra hole in the straps by the knees on my boots. They were a little to big. I ordered the black Kaden boots too. They were on sale for $26 bucks. I hope I like them as much as the brown. And I hope you like this LONG comment that was all about me.
