a few days ago, someone asked me if they could borrow my crocs (the crocs were by the door) so they could run outside for just a minute. they were carson's crocs.
yesterday, paul and i were folding laundry and he asked if a white t-shirt was mine. nope, it's carson's.
last night, carson asked me if we could buy him a new bike helmet that was "cooler" because the one he has is "too baby."
the kid's growing up in lots of ways. and it's hurting my heart a little bit.

He really is getting so big! I don't know if it's the recent buzz, but the last few times I have seen him, I have been shocked. It is a little sad to see how my oldest nephew is already so grown up, but it is also fun at the same time to see his personality and adult-like characteristics unfold.
Your children are destined to be tall...and, of course, beautiful.
Brittney - time goes too fast. I remember when Braxton was starting 1st grade - it seems like yesterday and now he will be starting his Junior year. Sadly, I don't know if there are any go-carts in Logan. The place we went is in good, old Rigby, Idaho (my hometown) and my kids loved them.
I'm telling you he is going to pass me by any day... any day.
aw - my kids are going to be taller than me by the time they are 10. . . and that's only 2 years away for hannah!!!!!!!!!!!
That almost makes me cry! I hate when kids grow up for some reason. Well I don't hate it, I love watching them grow, but it does break your heart. The other day Kaylynn asked me if something broke my heart. I said, "Yes" and she said, "So is your heart really cracked?"
