Milkshakes & Disney on Ice

We took the three older kids to Disney on Ice this weekend.

It was magical. Layla was mesmerized.

Even Carson loved it, especially the Pinocchio whale and the Nemo sharks. But not so much the Princess/Prince ice-skatings-of-love.

The girls kind of agreed with him. They liked seeing the Princesses, but to be honest, they were a little squeamy-geemy about the love.

Disney shouldn't take it personally, though. Layla blushes when she sees Paul and me kiss.

My favorite part of the night, though, was when we went to dinner right before the show, and Carson ordered himself a milkshake as his beverage. Uponst getting it from our waitress, his eyes lit up, he took a sip, and proclaimed, "This is the BEST night of my life!!"

Oh, and also: Addie always orders broccoli as her side dish for kid meals. Paul and I like to watch the waitress' eyebrows rise, as they inevitably do, when this happens. Priceless.
