Ah, naptime. What a glorious invention. Is it just me, or is there anything more heart-warming than a child who's completely exhausted just because he's been running around like, well, a kid all morning?
Oh, and in case you're wondering, he TOTALLY gets the open-mouth-sleeping from Paul. Or, at least, he probably does. I think. Actually, I've never noticed Paul sleeping with his mouth open, but it couldn't possibly be MY trait...
My favorite is when you send a crazed child up to her room for a little time-out and then after a few minutes don't hear anything, so you go up and see that she has fallen asleep on the floor with polly-pocket princesses all around her. Proof that a little break was just what she needed. Her or me? Definitely both.
There are some things we can just blame on them being children, right? Not all their traits have to come from one of us do they? At least I hope I don't sound like Owen....talking 100 words a seconds asking questions over and over until I answer....Mommy? Mommy? Mommy? Mommy? Mommy?
P.S. I think I used to see you sleeping like that back in college when we were roommates ;)
