During a hymn the other day in church, Paul and I happened to glance down our bench and could barely stifle the immediate irreverent snort-laughs that ensued. Why? Because Carson was perched on the edge of the bench, his eyes closed tight, chin tipped slightly up, swaying his head back and forth in true concentrated Stevie Wonder fashion. We caught him doing the same thing on a bus ride a few days later.
As hilarious a sight as it is, I can't help but wonder: Is there music in the air that I'm missing?

Wow. It must have been one of those really up-tempo, edgy Hymns, like, "Praise to the Man," or "Battle Hymn of the Republic."
nope. i don't remember exactly, but paul and i were completely missing the "vibe" that carson seemed to catch.
that is hilar! please take a picture next time - cause i know you usually have your camera ready in the middle of church waiting to capture all moments.
ha! what a character he is! I wish I could see it in person...boo.
I will second how funny his Stevie Wonder impersonation is...was there even music playing on the bus? Or did he just "feel" his own rhythm?
