saturday night, my brother's family (sans said brother) came to stay the night and sunday. i've decided that cousins (and sisters...and sisters-in-law) are among the best inventions ever.
and they dropped off layla's first love: a new toddler dora bed. i'll have to post a pic later. but i've never imagined a transition to toddler bed could be so easy -- i think she sleeps better now than she did when she was in her crib!
thanks, melissa, kristin, & co.! you're welcome to come and stay anytime...hopefully a little longer next time, and we'll hit the waterworks.
p.s. in the photo of the boys, above, one of them is genuinely frowning/pouting. bet you'll never guess who.

Thanks for the invite. I feel oh so special. So when is that Dr. appointment again so I can call to tell you your house is on fire, you're being called to Releif Society president, someone stole your identity...
Love the Picts Britt....we had a great time but yes...the whole trip was way too short!
