self-esteem schmelf-esteem

carson wanted to join layla & me in my bed this morning to watch the last few minutes of "sid the science kid" (cute show). he climbed up and tried to jump over me to his spot but accidentally landed ON me.

"sah-yee, mom. i TRIED to jump ovah you, but you're just so WIDE! too wide foi me to jump. pretty wide..." voice trailing off as he became engrossed in the television.

what a lovely way to start the day. if you need me, i'll be gazing longingly at the contents of our kitchen cupboards.

Do you think that maybe he meant "lied"? You know, those 'r' and 'l' sounds turned to 'w's? Of course, I don't know what is worse, being accused, by your son of being wide or being accused of being lied.

Feel better?

Your Carson stories are hilarious. I'm pretty sure my favorite one was the grocery store and "It's really big..." We have had very similar experiences with Charlie.

Please, btw, I'm sure you are back in your size zero jeans already!

Your stories always make me laugh, and then Jordan comes running in to see what is so funny. He is going to love reading these stories some day.
