surely we can't be the only family with camera-happy kids. below are some pics taken by the kiddos; hundreds others (including flattering close-ups of nostrils and interesting shots of blurry painted walls) did not make it to the blog.
at least it makes them happy. and at least we can learn things about ourselves, things like the fact that layla shouldn't be photographed close-up directly after dinner.
discoveries: the kids discovering a "new" (hand-me-down from pinnocks -- THANKS again!!) lego table and legos.

addie discovering (and proudly displaying) her belly button.
basically, he took snow and learned what was a good insulator (tests were: air, cardboard, metal, styrofoam).
i just love reading his hand-writing. it's not his strongest academic skill, but he's getting better.

Isn't he in kindergarten?? I am way impressed.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who kicks their kids out into the yard and then closes the sliding door behind them. Now that they can play ON TOP of the crusty snow, they want to go out a lot more, but I just want to sip hot chocolate inside.
em -- yes, he's in k-garten. you're sweet to be "impressed"...don't look too closely, though! :)
anna -- totally. i had to force them out the door several times this winter, but once out there, they had a great time. i wonder if i'll ever get to the point where i can leave the sliding glass door viewing perch, though. it's too fun to watch them, so i can't get much "useful" stuff done with the time. dah well.
Oh my gosh, I am so amazed by Carson's science fair project! It is seriously AWESOME! Tell him I love it!
I thought Carson's Science Fair project was great. I took a peek at it at the school. So glad your kids like the lego table. Jennifer
