Ahhhh, Bear Lake. Northern Utah's paradise. I mean, look at that sky. And that water. Beautiful.
Carson loves riding on the sailboat pontoon.
Violet enjoyed sitting in the shade. No, she didn't touch the water. Yes, I needlessly put her in her bathing suit anyway. Because it's stinking cute, that's why.
For the record: Paul took me sailing and I also sat on the pontoon, which I felt was pretty daring. (I also think putting the silverware upside down in the dishwasher is pushing the envelope, too, so...) But I was not nearly brave enough to try this impressive little stunt of C's:
Carson on the pontoon again. He caught a ride with everyone he could convince to take him out there. I don't blame him. That little hobie cat is a sweet ride.
Layla is a natural beach bum. Sometimes literally.
She enjoys being out on the water as well, though.
Paul enjoyed taking the kids out but also took a solo sail or two. He flew the hull a few times in the afternoon, which is cool to watch. Unfortch, camera was not in-hand for the actual action, so I'll leave you with this scenic shot:
Glorious. And I didn't even get sunburned this time. Cha-ching.
