wanted: a good job

anyone have the name of a good company to work for for an intelligent, hard-working, honest, not to mention handsome, electrical engineer? he's still employed, thankfully, but things are looking fairly grim when trying to see past the next few months.

we like where we are, of course, but we're willing to go anywhere. hawaii would be our #1 choice, but beggars can't be choosers.

for more information on the issues, just google "ares I," which is what paul's been working on the past few years.

Ah Snap! Curses to Obama. Scott's dad survived the last lay-off, but took a sifnificant demotion. Crappy, crap, crap.

WOW! Look at your smart husband!! That is truly amazing he gets to be involved with such a project. There's always the good ole Tri-Cities and the area. :)

Jeff was layed off last April - can't believe it's been almost a year. It was the best 7 weeks of unemployment we've had as a family. He has a better job, works for better people and although he drives 40 minutes to work, he has a job he enjoys. We almost had to move to my parents house if he didn't get a job, but we found one. :)

Good luck and sorry I don't have any offers for him. I don't even know anyone that smart!? :)

It just doesn't make sense how someone so smart, so accomplished should have to worry about keeping his job. I hate it that this is affecting such hard working, honest people. Good luck the next while... The roller coaster is sooooo not fun. Somehow it will work out. Lots of prayers will be said for your cute family!

Pooey! But, I do have a job for him - he can come and clean my house every day! His compensation? Room and board for five! You guys can live with us! It would be such a party (especially for you and I because we wouldn't have to do an ounce of housework because Paul would do it all!!). Let me know what he thinks!

I was worried about you guys. So many lay off's! Matt's boss just got laid off. It was a total shock. I don't think anyones jobs are safe these days. We might be in the same boat. Matt's job is funded by the government and they don't want to fund it anymore. When you are that smart, intelligent, honest, and handsome Wal-Mart doesn't want to hire you. Not that he would work there but it is hard finding a new job when you are over qualified. Good luck!
