On Saturday, my parents got back from Sweden. They've been there three years. We eagerly awaited their arrival at the airport. The kids were awesome...mostly thanks to Stephanie's forethought of bringing an enormous bag of candy. And also the nice security guard's warning that they'd better stay off the escalators or else. Bingo.
My parents met four grandkids that they've never seen in "real life" that night. Good to have them back. Which is a ridonculous understatement, of course, but one that will have to do.
To show you how overwhelmingly happy and excited I was to see them, I completely shut my camera down and didn't take any photos. Which wasn't on purpose, because now I wish I had more photos of their actual arrival. But some things are good to just live out, you know? Either way, I'll take (and post) a plethora of pics of them in the coming days/weeks.
Welcome home, Dad & Mom!! We sure love you guys.

Britt, that is so awesome! How much fun to have them back in the US of A. I haven't had 2 seconds to talk to you, but it looks like my folks are headed out on a mission in the next few months here, so I'm on the other end of things. I have to say I'm nervous. So excited, but also sad. You know? Love ya.
