I hate tattle-talers...unless it's me...

I totally tattled on some little (4- or 5-year old) boys at Paul's softball game the other night. They had a big-gulp-size cup filled with water and kept taking big swigs of it and spitting it out on my kids' faces and/or backs.

First offense: I told them to stop. They didn't.
Second offense: I told them to stop (in a less kind voice than used previously), that it was gross and not nice. They didn't.
Third offense: I tried to take their cup o' ammunition away. They wouldn't give it to me, which led to.
Fourth: I walked from parent to parent asking, "Are these boys your kids?" until I found the mom and FULL-ON tattled. "Hey, um, your boys are using that cup and spitting water at kids. Just wanted you to know."

Don't know about you all, but I think I just learned a valuable life lesson here, and it's not one my mom taught me: Tattling pays off. Big time.

Good for you! One day we were at the pool and a kid kept chasing Landon in the kiddie pool. I watched for awhile, because at first I thought Landon was just playing with him but when he started spitting water at him and grabbing onto him and almost pulling him under, I finally yelled at him and splashed him and told him to leave Landon alone. Little punk...wish I could have found his mom and gave her a piece of my mind, especially when I saw him harrassing other kids until their moms stuck up for them as well.
